There are many wineries to choose from, and below you will find a selection of some our favorites. You may want to consider a group or private tour
Benziger Family Winery $$
Tours: Biodynamic Vineyard Tram Tour - is 45 minutes long and you do not need reservations. They take you on a ride through the vineyards, fermentation facility and crush pad. Partners Estate Tour & Tasting is 1 ½ hours long and appointments are recommended, but not required. This is a behind-the-scenes tour that includes an exclusive seated tasting. It’s a biodynamic winery. They use sheep to fertilize and till the land, owls to get rid of rodents and specific insects to kill harmful insects. They have many gardens on their property, which the chef at the Glen Ellen Star uses for his produce.

Tours available by appointment. Beautiful views of the Sonoma Valley.
Hanzell Vineyards $$$
The Heritage Winery & Estate Tour & Tasting offers a one and a half hour walk through the vineyards with a seated tasting of their current releases. Hanzell Vineyards Wine Library Tour includes everything in the Heritage tour, plus a seated tasting of rare vintages from the Wine Library. Two and a half hours. This is an appointment only winery which only makes Pinots and Chardonnays.

Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Dessert Wines
Covered in lavender fields from which they make a variety of products, bocce court.
