CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT TIME
Check-in is between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday and Saturday. Check-out is by 11:00 a.m. on the departure date, unless previously arranged with the front desk. If you anticipate arriving after office hours, please notify the front desk so that we can make special arrival arrangements for you. Due to our small size, we typically cannot accommodate an early check-in or late departure.
OCCUPANCY AND LOCAL TAX
Transient Occupancy Tax is charged on the room rate only. There are no additional fees.
GUARANTEE POLICY
To guarantee your reservation, we require a valid credit card. Unless otherwise stated at the time of reservation, we do not charge your card in advance.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Sonoma Creek Inn has a seven-day cancellation policy unless otherwise stated on your confirmation. For all reservations cancelled seven days or more before the date of arrival there is no charge. For reservations cancelled within seven days of arrival, the first night’s charge, plus tax, will be billed to your credit card on file.
24-Hour Safe Harbor: Guests can cancel their reservation within 24 hours of creation, without penalty and with a full refund, as long as the date booked is at least three days before arrival. The 24-hour clock begins when the initial reservation is made.
Reservations made within two days of the arrival date are considered non-cancellable and will incur a one-night charge if cancelled. Guests who fail to cancel their reservation and do not check-in on the day of arrival will be charged for the first night plus tax.
VALID IDENTIFICATION
Guests are required to present a valid identification at check-in that matches the name on the reservation as well as the credit card used to pay for the guestroom charges.
ORIGINAL CREDIT CARD TO BE PRESENTED AT CHECK-IN
We require a valid credit card on file to guarantee your reservation. Depending on your booking rate and channel, your card may be charged for your stay in advance. If you are pre-charged, your original credit card used must be presented upon arrival. The applicable policy will be referenced when booking as well as noted on your confirmation.
PRE-AUTHORIZATION REQUIRED
Upon arrival, your card will also be pre-authorized for $50 for incidentals. Upon check-out, if there are no additional charges, our system will notify your bank that we have released this pre-authorization.
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Guests with a confirmed reservation understand and agree to be financially responsible, subject to the noted cancellation policy, for the entire length of stay reserved, including all incidentals charged and any property damage due to guest negligence.
DEBIT CARD USE
If you choose to use a debit card to guarantee and pay for your stay, your bank will automatically hold additional funds, beyond the expected amount due, in an effort to cover any incidental charges. We have no control over the amount your bank will hold or when the funds will be released back to your account. Please check with your bank for further information
CASH AND CHECKS
If you wish to pay with cash, you may do so upon arrival, however, a credit card pre-authorization of $50 is required for incidentals. We apologize for any inconvenience but we do not accept checks.
RESERVING & PAYING FOR ANOTHER GUEST
If you are paying for another guest’s stay and not staying at the hotel, you will be required to submit a credit card authorization form with identification and signature; your card will be charged at the time of reservation for the entire amount
GROUP, HOLIDAY AND SPECIAL EVENT PERIODS
Group bookings and reservations during a special event or holiday period are subject to a longer cancellation policy. This will be stated on your confirmation. If you have any questions, please contact the manager about your cancellation policy. Guests who fail to cancel their reservation and reserved their guestroom as part of a group or during a special event period are subject to a no-show charge equal to the entire stay. Sonoma Creek Inn requires a minimum stay during certain periods of the year, special events, and holiday periods. If you have reserved a guestroom during a time period with a minimum night stay and need to cancel, depart early, or fail to check-in for your reservation, please know that the minimum night stay will be charged to your credit card on file.
SMOKE-FREE
Sonoma Creek Inn is 100% smoke-free. Please do not smoke in any of the guestrooms, on the patios, or within 20 feet of the building. If smoking occurs, there will be a $200 cleaning fee per night added to your folio. Please know we strictly enforce this policy.
DOG-FRIENDLY
Sonoma Creek Inn has several dog-friendly guestrooms. If you are interested in bringing your dog, advance reservations, as well as a flat fee, are required. Please click here for additional information. Guests who bring a dog to the hotel without making an advance reservation or notifying the staff will be subject to a $200 charge. If you are interested in bringing your pet, please call the hotel directly to review the policy and inquire if a pet-friendly guestroom is available during your dates of stay.
ADDITIONAL GUESTS
Our room rates are based on double occupancy. Many of the rooms cannot accommodate more than two guests. If there is a third guest (over the age of five) staying in the room, there will be a $25 rollaway charge. If you should need a rollaway, please contact us immediately as we have a limited number available, and we will need to confirm that your room can accommodate an additional guest.
CHILDREN WELCOME
We welcome families and children. For your comfort, please speak with the innkeeper directly to determine the best room to accommodate your family. Quiet hours must be observed after 8:30 pm for the comfort of all in the hotel. Children, ages five and under, stay at no charge. If you need a crib, please request one in advance as we have a limited number available.
EARLY DEPARTURE FEE
Guests who need to check out earlier than expected from the hotel will be subject to a $25 early departure fee. Guests that initially reserved more than one night due to a required minimum-night stay will be charged the full amount of each night required.
CANDLES
Burning candles is not allowed due to the potential fire hazard. Please do not light a candle in your guestroom. If lit, you will be liable for the entire amount of damage.
